Service Description

Every successful start-up hopes to reap the benefits of a steep growth curve but avoid the pitfalls of creating silos, the loss of cross-functional teaming and mission creep. By adopting a Systems Thinking mindset at the beginning, we believe an organization can maintain adaptability and innovation while simultaneously adopting structures and processes that will assure coherence and stability. By practicing the 14 Habits of a Systems Thinker and Systems Thinking tools, leaders will establish a culture of organizational learning and develop the ability to manage change effectively.

Outcomes: Participants will be able to:

  1. Apply Systems Thinking Habits and tools to organizational leadership and design.
  2. Apply Systems Thinking Habits and tools to evaluate, lead change of and manage organizational culture.
  3. Apply Systems Thinking Habits and tools to increase the engagement, sense of belonging, and productivity of staff.
  4. Apply Systems Thinking Habits and tools to effectively manage turbulent change and maintain organizational culture.
  5. Apply Systems Thinking Habits and tools to manage challenges associated with growth, including increasing headcount, development of silos, and cross-functional teaming.

Structure:

  • Initial 2-Day Workshop (or equivalent)
  • Suggested follow-up could include further systems thinking capacity-building, implementation support, and/or coaching.
