Service Description
Get your arrows all pointing in the same direction by engaging your teams with Systems Thinking. Implementing a new process or product within your organization requires all people in your system see themselves as aligned and as integral members who contribute to the success of the team. By learning the Habits of a Systems Thinker and by practicing systems thinking tools, your team will develop practices and establish new ways of engaging with each other and their work. By the end of the workshop your team will be more cohesive, more focused on clear desirable outcomes, and able to monitor and adjust their plans in a collaborative and forward-looking manner.
Outcomes: Participants will be able to:
- Use the Habits of a Systems Thinker and systems thinking tools to analyze local data and identify stakeholder groups.
- Apply the Habits of a Systems Thinker and relevant tools to develop leadership capacity aligned with a systems thinking mindset.
- Apply the Habits of a Systems Thinker and relevant tools to assess and monitor the current state and explain the desired state as the implementation progresses.
- Apply the Habits of a Systems Thinker and relevant tools to set goals that align with a systems thinking perspective.
- Apply the Habits of a Systems Thinker and relevant tools to map an action and evaluation plan for the implementation in order to determine future actions and methods of assessment and evaluation.
Structure:
- Design team meeting of 3 - 5 people who represent leadership at multiple levels (½ day) where we will review perspectives about current conditions, establish desired outcomes and surface any other information that would contribute to a customized plan.
- 2-day workshop (or equivalent), full-team, followed by 1-day workshops 3x per year.
- Suggested follow-up could include further systems thinking capacity-building, and/or executive coaching.
