The Systems-Informed Coach:
New Tools for Evoking Awareness and Growth
Coaches are trained to listen for what a client says.
This workshop trains you to see what's driving it.
This workshop trains you to see what's driving it.
Executive and leadership coaches will learn to bring the Habits of a Systems Thinker™ and other systems tools into the coaching conversation — expanding how you Evoke Awareness and Facilitate Client Growth with clients navigating complexity.
You'll learn to:
- Coach from the Habits of a Systems Thinker™, using them as a lens to notice patterns, question assumptions, and expand a client's view of their own system in real time
- Help clients surface and examine the mental models driving their leadership decisions — deepening insight beyond the presenting issue
- Use systems tools to help clients visualize the flows and patterns in their system that they're too close to see themselves
- Guide clients in recognizing how system structure — not personality or effort — is often the real driver of the results they're trying to change
Throughout, you'll practice applying the Habits and tools in ways that stay client-centered and non-directive — sharing knowledge and observations in service of the client's own insight, not prescribing solutions — so they strengthen your presence and trust with clients rather than turning sessions into a systems-thinking lecture.
Who it's for:
Executive and leadership coaches (ICF-credentialed or in training) who want a concrete, repeatable framework — grounded in the Habits of a Systems Thinker™ — for helping clients see the systemic patterns behind recurring leadership challenges.
Participants will receive 3.0 ICF Continuing Coach Education (CCE) credits, including 2.5 Core Competency CCEs and 0.5 Resource Development CCEs.
